Topaz Airport Road Service Station named sponsor of Dundrod 150 Superbike race for 8th year

The Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix is pleased to announce that Topaz Airport Road Service Station will sponsor the Dundrod 150 Superbike race in August for the 8th consecutive year.

Business Director of Topaz Airport Road Service Station, Gordon Stewart said: “The Ulster Grand Prix means a lot to us and we are delighted to be involved once again this year.

“The Ulster Grand Prix has always been part of my blood; my mother grew up on a farm beside the circuit’s hairpin and my father was the Chairman of the UGP Supporters for many years. I have many happy memories of selling programmes and badges to raise money for the UGP throughout the 70s and 80s and so sponsorship was the natural next step.

“I have a long standing relationship with the Dundrod and District Motorcycle Club and many of them are good friends and customers. They have worked very hard to build the race into the world-class event it is today and I’m glad to be able to give something back to the Club.

“I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone involved a safe and enjoyable bike week.”

Topaz Road Service Station will host its annual ‘Meet the Riders’ event on Friday 7th August at 11am. Come along to meet some of the world’s top road racers and enjoy fresh BBQ food. All proceeds raised will go towards Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary.
