Fans urged to put their best foot forward for Injured Riders

Fans of the Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix can show their support for the Injured Riders Welfare Fund by taking part in a special sponsored walk around the Dundrod Circuit on Sunday 2nd August.

With Bike Week set to kick off the following day, the walk will cover one 7.4-mile lap of the legendary track and was organised in memory of local racer Stephen ‘Jack’ McIlvenna, who passed away following an accident at last year’s Manx Grand Prix.

Whether you’re cycling, running or even walking the dog, all ages are welcome. Registration takes place at 11.30am and the walk starts at 12pm sharp from the start finish line.

There will be refreshments provided at the finish and all funds raised will be used to support the Injured Riders Welfare Fund.

The Fund works to support injured riders and their families, providing financial aid, transport to hospitals and giving them someone to talk to whenever it is needed.
