Gerard and Siobhan Rice, proprietors of Around A Pound, the sponsors of Saturday’s feature Superbike race at the 2019 fonaCAB Ulster Grand Prix, are hoping they might see Peter Hickman break his new world record lap speed of 136.415mph which he set on his way to winning the Thursday evening superbike race.
The Smith’s BMW rider won’t have things all his way though with plenty of competition from former lap record holder, Dean Harrison on his Silicone Kawasaki, Manxman Conor Cummins (Milenco Padegtt’s Honda) and local favourite Michael Dunlop on the Tyco BMW to name just a few.
