McKinstry Skip Hire

McKinstry Skip Hire, the Crumlin-based waste management and resource solutions specialists, have been announced as the official sponsor of the superbike race one at the Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix.

Owned and run by brothers Mark and Darren McKinstry, the company services both public and private sector clients with skip hire, recycling and quarry products.

Their Nutts Corner base is just a few miles from the famous Dundrod circuit and the business has been associated with the event for many years.

Mark said: “We’re really pleased to be on board again this year because the Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix is right on our doorstep. It’s a real local event that attracts thousands of fans so it’s great for our area.

“For us the most important thing is to keep our Dad’s legacy alive. He passed away six years ago but he was a huge fan of the Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix and this is a great way to remember him.

“We wish all the competitors a safe and successful Bike Week.”

Noel Johnston, Clerk of the Course at the Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix said: “It’s great to see McKinstry Skip hire back again for 2014. They have given us such great support over the years, ever since Albert ‘Tiny McKinstry’ first started coming to the races.

“It’s nice to see Mark and Darren keeping his memory alive through racing and I hope we can look forward to many more years working together.”
