McKinstry Skip Hire’s support for UGP shows no sign of ‘wasting’ away

LEADING waste management company McKinstry Skip Hire has confirmed its continued support for the Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix.

The Nutt’s Corner-based skip hire, waste disposal and quarrying company will sponsor the first Superbike race at the 2015 event, for the third year running.

Run by brothers Mark and Darren, McKinstry Skip Hire has long been associated with road racing, and the Ulster Grand Prix in particular.

Darren McKinstry said: “We were first introduced to road racing when we were young by our father, Tiny McKinstry. He was so passionate about the sport and a very well known face at the local events. Over the years Dad sponsored many riders and events, and so our way of honouring his legacy is to continue to do this.

“We’re also proud of the fact that Tiny played a key role in bringing the flying Kiwi, Bruce Anstey to Dundrod for the first time. He’s now the fastest man on the circuit – who knows who’d hold that title if it hadn’t been for Dad bringing him over here!

“The Ulster Grand Prix will always be a special event for us. We’d like to wish the organisers and competitors a safe and successful Bike Week.”

McKinstry Skip Hire offers its diverse client base a comprehensive package of waste management and resource solutions, and has recently partnered with Stobart Biomass on a 20 year contract to supply biomass fuel across Ireland.
