Gerry Rice has been nothing but a joy to work with at the Ulster Grand Prix and we are delighted that he has continued his association with Dundrod in continuing his sponsorship of the Supersport Race on Saturday.
Around A Pound was established in 1999 by Gerard and Siobhan Rice, with the ambition of opening a quality discount store and by 2005 had stores in Newry (their flagship store), Banbridge and Newcastle. Stores in Lurgan , Armagh and Warrenpoint were soon added providing evidence that their business plan was a huge success in every town they entered.
Today Around A Pound employs 85 staff , manages six successful retail outlets as well as a thriving online business. From humble beginnings Around A Pound has become a leading community retailer in Northern Ireland as a result of its consistent dedication to quality products at best value prices.
