Aerosmith rock band frontman and Dirico Motorcycles USA spokesman Steve Tyler, plus Metzeler rider Guy Martin revealed two new tyres during the Milan Bike Show last night.
Metzeler hosted the star-studded Legendary Kinght event to introduce the new rubber. Tyler, a big custom bike fan, unveiled the custom touring ME 888 Marathon™ Ultra tyres in a whitewall version and new 23-inch front size, while road racer Guy revealed the new SPORTEC™ M7 RR supersport tyres.
Steven Tyler, as Dirico Motorcycles USA spokesman together with Mark Dirico and Stephen Talarico, captivated the attention of the audience by talking about his passion for two wheels. He also expressed words of praise for the new ME 888 Marathon ™ Ultra tyres and for Metzeler, exclusive tyre supplier of Dirico motorcycles USA, a brand founded in 2007 and specialising in creating custom motorcycles.
The Sportec™ M7 RR provides riders with a new level of supersport performance, adapted for road use and is designed for all riders who prefer a sporty riding style and ride whatever the road conditions, the weather and the temperature. The new tyre also promises excellent wet grip and higher mileage than its predecessor, the Sportec™ M5 Interact™.
The new ‘Triple 8′ ME 888 Marathon™ Ultra tyres, as well as the whitewall version, includes 12 sizes – five front and seven rear – which can fit most popular models of heavy tourers, V-twins and metric cruisers offering the same performance of the equal ‘blackwall’ tyre sizes.
