SOS Restoration Ltd, one of Ireland’s foremost Disaster Recovery specialists, has announced that it will sponsor the Dundrod Supertwins race at the 2014 Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix.
Based in Belfast, the business has over 25 years of combined experience in dealing with and repairing the consequences of fire, flood, trauma and other unexpected catastrophes.
With a team of trained technicians that can be quickly deployed anywhere in Ireland or the UK, they perform both commercial and domestic recovery projects.
Shirley McLaughlin from SOS Restoration Ltd said: “The Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix is really significant to us as a company as we were founded on same day that racing was cancelled in 2008.
“There were torrential downpours that forced the organisers to cancel the event without a single race held and that was the day that SOS Restoration was born!
“Over the years we have grown to become a successful company and we felt the need to give something back to our local road race. I was there that day and the devastation for organisers, riders and fans was clear to see.
“We want to be able to assist in some small way to show our support to to help make the Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix the world’s fastest and greatest road race.”
Clerk of the Course Noel Johnston said: “It’s great to have SOS Restoration join us as a sponsor for 2014.
“They wanted to give something back to the community and I thank them for all their support.”
