Meet the sponsors – Supreme Fuels and Tyres

Proud Sponsors of the Ultralightweight/Lightweight Race

Ian Carson was born and raised on the approach to the famous Dundrod UGP circuit, in a little place called Colin. Not surprising, from an early age, the draw to the UGP was too much to resists as a young boy and to this day, 50 years on, he still wouldn’t miss the fastest road race in the world.

Ian recalls as a 7 year old boy he clearly remembers that his mother used to take in lodgers from far away fields such as France and Germany and he remembers one of the German lodgers sent his mother a letter to thank her for the hospitality, shown to him during his time there. The problem was he had written it in German and Ian had to take it to school to see if his teacher could translate it.

Ian has followed the UGP for 50 years now and daughter Crissie has taken to follow in her father’s footsteps.
Ian for the past 16 years has been running Supreme Fuels and Tyres situated at the famous Horse Shoe Bend.
