Super-fast Logistics company IFS backs world’s fastest road race

IFS Global Logistics, the NI group of companies that specialises in worldwide logistics and international supply chain services, has once again announced it will sponsor the Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix.

The company, which boasts expertise in global freight forwarding and express courier services, customs clearance and compliance, warehousing and last mile delivery, will sponsor the final Superbike race during Bike Week 2015.

Speaking about their decision to back the UGP, Graeme Hanna, Managing Director at IFS said: “We’ve been associated with this event for almost 20 years, initially supporting the Dundrod 150 national road races. I’m happy to say we’ve been able to maintain our involvement with the UGP, because it’s an important local event and one that allows us to give something back to the community.

Graeme added: “Our business is increasingly focused on supplying goods direct from businesses to the consumer, thanks to the ever-growing demand for home delivery from internet shopping.

“For over a decade now we’ve been leading the way with the development of high end information systems to proactively communicate with our customers and deliver visibility to their many and varied supply chains.  IFS provide world-class shipping solutions from domestic and international small pack express, to larger airfreight consignments,  to ocean containers and special project work .

“IFS deliver an added bonus in that customers are able to speak directly to somebody local at our head office in Antrim, who empathise fully with the clients individual and specific shipping requirements, something our multi-national competitors can’t offer.

“One of our unique selling points,  “USP”, has to be our speed of service – we can deliver next day to the UK, Europe and many key global cities. Not many can compete with that, and our unmatchable speed is something we have in common with the World’s Fastest Road Race!” he said.
